Our bike tour in the Niagara Wine Country takes you to the region’s best wineries, along peaceful bike paths, and to luxurious inns. Upon arrival on the Niagara Peninsula, cycle along the Niagara River to breathtaking Niagara Falls. That evening, enjoy a private reception in the wine cellar of your inn’s winery. Spin through vineyards and orchards, stopping for lunch at a winery that has expansive views across Lake Ontario all the way to Toronto. This Vermont bike tour in the Lake Champlain Valley kicks off with a picnic lunch on the charming Vergennes village green, perched above a waterfall. From here, this classic route – recognized by Frommer’s as one of the “Ten Best in the World” – follows country roads and the lakeshore to reveal the best of Vermont’s Green Mountains and New York’s Adirondacks. Ride through one of the longest covered bridges in the state and visit the Stephen A. Douglas Museum. After exploring Boston’s Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, Boston Public Gardens, and North End, we’ll transfer to Yarmouth to begin our Cape Cod cycling trip. Pedal along seaside lanes past gray-shingled cottages and expansive beaches to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Ride through Chatham to Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, where we’ll take a private cruise across Pleasant Bay to view seals and waterfowl. Continue to Eastham, where you’ll learn more about the historic Cape Cod National Seashore at the Visitor Center at Salt Pond and ride to Nauset Lighthouse. Take quiet back roads through the village of Wellfleet, then continue to bustling Provincetown. From here, ride the Province Lands Bike Paths and visit the Old Harbor Lifesaving Museum, the oldest life-saving station in the country. Climb Provincetown’s Pilgrim Monument for great views, or explore local galleries and shops. Return to Boston via ferry across Massachusetts Bay.

Our bike trip in Glacier National Park takes you beneath towering Rocky Mountain peaks and glaciers, past sapphire lakes, and alongside colorful meadows. Start with a warm-up ride around Whitefish Lake, in the shadow of Big Mountain. Tackle the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road from Apgar Visitor Center to St. Mary’s Lake, through Logan Pass. Along this challenging yet rewarding ride, you’ll pass glacier-carved peaks, emerald lakes, and countless waterfalls, plus cross over North America’s Continental divide. At day’s end, fill up on Montana’s regional specialties, including buffalo, fresh trout, prime rib, and sweet huckleberry desserts. Ride through fir and aspen forests to views of Chief Mountain, picnic at Maskinonge Lake, and go birding in the wetlands. Cross over to Canada’s Waterton Lakes National Park and stay at the stately Prince of Wales Hotel for two nights. Ride to the Waterton Reservoir or the small town of Pincher Creek. Hike to Bertha Lake to see Cameron and Bertha Falls, or hike to Red Rock Canyon. Those who seek a bigger challenge can tackle the National Geographic-acclaimed Crypt Lake hike.
