A 6-day ride exploring Wyoming beyond its famous parks, crossing open ranchlands, small towns and wide western valleys.
Western Wyoming is often known for its famous national parks, but this six-day tour explores a quieter side of the state. From Jackson Hole, riders climb over Togwotee Pass and past Brooks Lake before dropping into Dubois, a cowboy town home to the Bighorn Sheep Center.
The route then follows the Wind River Valley into Lander, a hub for outdoor recreation, before passing through the historic ghost towns of Atlantic City and South Pass City on the way to Farson, famous for its Mercantile ice cream. The final riding day takes in views over Fremont Lake and the Green River Valley near Pinedale.
Overnights are spent in a mix of historic hotels and remote lodges, with regional dinners featuring trout, barbecue, steak and local beef, before the tour finishes back in Jackson.
Highlights
- Togwotee Pass and Brooks Lake
- Dubois's Western heritage and Bighorn Sheep Center
- Wind River Valley cycling into Lander
- Historic ghost towns of Atlantic City and South Pass City
- Farson Mercantile's famous ice cream and views from Pinedale over Fremont Lake and the Green River Valley
Surface and terrain:
Riding is on paved highways, some with shoulders, with generally light traffic. The route passes through open country, sagebrush hills, ranch country and river valleys, with "small climbs rather than long sustained mountain ascents." The more significant climbs, near Togwotee Pass and South Pass, are partially shuttled. Daily distances range from 38 to 74 miles (61-119 km).
Weather:
Fall in Wyoming is typically cool, clear and well suited to riding. Mornings can be chilly enough for tights and arm warmers, though many days warm up enough for short sleeves by lunchtime. Layering is recommended.
Suitable for:
Riders comfortable with a "moderate" difficulty tour, covering varying terrain and some climbing, without extreme technical demands.

Cycling through a Polynesian Paradise
Polynesia. A word synonymous with a carefree way of life. A way of life immune to the modern world. The lure of Polynesia's charms are renowned, Gauguin, Melville and Captain Bligh's crew all succumbed to its seductive temptations. So too, will you on our 13 day ride through French Polynesia.
Our first island visit will be to Moorea, used for the most recent Hollywood version of "Mutiny on the Bounty". Here you'll ride high up in the island's interior to Belevedere Overlook, explore the local distilleries and loop around the island's through numerous copra plantations on roads lined with flowering Hibiscus.
From Moorea, we return to Tahiti for the evening, then set sail (well, actually we take a high speed ferry) to the leeward islands of Raiatea, Tahaa and Huahine to discover their charms. Raiatea is the home of the temple complex, Marae Taputaputea, from which it is believed both the Hawaiians and Maori set sail for their new homes. Tahaa, a short 3 km boat trip from Raiatea, is a spectacular island, undiscovered by the big tourist resorts. Huahine is the tranquil isle and usually the tour favorite. Actually two islands encircled by the same reef, Huahine's coastal roads are delightfully quiet, due to the small population, and beautifully lined with swaying palms and fruit laden banana trees.
Highlights
- Cycle the fabled island of Bora Bora
- Pedal through lush landscapes past turquoise bays
- Taste Polynesia's delightful poisson cru
- Snorkel through crystal clear waters
- Meet the locals face to face while cycling rural roads

A 10-day cycling journey through Alaska's interior, pairing quiet wilderness roads with a lively craft beer scene.
This 10-day tour rides out from Anchorage into Alaska's wild interior, following gentle railway-grade roads that rarely climb steeper than two percent. Riders pass through poplar and aspen forests along the Parks Highway and into Denali State Park, with expansive views of the Alaska Range and Denali itself. A free day in Denali Village allows time to explore Denali National Park before the route heads south along the remote, partly unpaved Denali Highway and the historic Richardson and Glenn Highways.
Each riding day ends with a stop at a local craft brewery, and overnights are spent in a mix of historic hotels and remote roadhouse-style lodges, including Gakona Lodge and Sheep Mountain Lodge. The route also passes through quirky towns such as Talkeetna and Palmer, with wildlife sightings possible along the highways, before returning to Anchorage via Independence Mine.
Highlights:
- Sweeping views of Denali and the Alaska Range while riding through Denali State Park
- A free day to explore Denali National Park
- Craft beer tastings at a local brewery at the end of each riding day
- Historic roadhouses and remote lodges, including Gakona Lodge and Sheep Mountain Lodge
- Quirky Alaskan towns en route, including Talkeetna and Palmer, plus wildlife-spotting opportunities along the highways
- Wildlife sightings possible along the highways (especially spring and fall) but not guaranteed
Surface and terrain:
Riding is mostly on paved highways in good condition with wide shoulders (Parks, Richardson and Glenn Highways). The Denali Highway on Day 6 starts paved and transitions to a well-maintained dirt surface. Terrain is rolling throughout, following gentle grades originally built for the region's railways, so long climbs rarely exceed two percent. Daily distances range from 20 to 75 miles (35-120 km).
Weather:
Interior Alaska weather is changeable: daytime temperatures range from crisp to surprisingly warm, cold Arctic fronts can arrive at almost any time, and wetter systems can move in from the Gulf of Alaska. Mornings and evenings can dip near or below freezing. A day or two of rain is likely during most tours. Layering, including a rain jacket, is recommended. Daylight lasts roughly 16-22 hours depending on departure dates. Season runs May to September.
Suitable for:
Moderately fit cyclists comfortable with daily rides of 43-75 miles (69-120 km) and remote, lodge-based touring. Well suited to wildlife watchers and craft beer enthusiasts wanting an active but not extreme itinerary.

A 15-day ride along the legendary Alaska Highway from British Columbia to Alaska, tracing one of North America's great frontier roads.
This 15-day expedition follows the historic Alaska Highway, built in 1942 as a military supply route, from Mile Zero in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, to Fairbanks, Alaska. After a mandatory Mile Zero photo, riders cross hilly BC terrain past the original Kiskatinaw Bridge and over Summit Lake, the highest point on the original highway, continuing through Fort Nelson, Toad River and Muncho Lake Provincial Park.
The route then eases into the mountainous Yukon interior, taking in Liard Hot Springs, Watson Lake's Sign Post Forest and the turquoise glacial waters of Kluane Lake beneath the St Elias Mountains, before crossing into Alaska via the Tetlin Wildlife Refuge and a celebratory finish at historic Milepost 1422.
Overnights are spent in a mix of frontier lodges and small-town hotels, with local guides drawing on more than two decades of experience on this route, plus stops for local craft beer along the way.
Highlights:
- Mandatory Mile Zero photo in Dawson Creek and the original Kiskatinaw Bridge
- Summit Lake, the highest point on the original Alaska Highway
- Muncho Lake Provincial Park and a soak at Liard Hot Springs
- Watson Lake's Sign Post Forest and the turquoise waters of Kluane Lake beneath the St Elias Mountains
- Tetlin Wildlife Refuge and a celebratory finish at historic Milepost 1422
- Wildlife (moose, bald eagles, wood bison, black bears) is often seen along the highway, especially in spring and fall, though sightings are never guaranteed
Surface and terrain:
The Alaska Highway is paved throughout and well suited to road bikes, with wide shoulders and long sightlines. Terrain progresses from hilly in British Columbia to mountainous through the Yukon, easing to smaller hills closer to Alaska. Grades are described as gentle and shaped by the highway's natural contours, with gradual rather than steep ascents. Daily distances range from 35-66 miles (56-106 km).
Weather:
Daytime temperatures range from crisp to surprisingly warm, and cold fronts can drop down from the Arctic at almost any time, with mornings and evenings sometimes dipping near or below freezing. There is always a chance of rain, though it is often just a day or two of wet weather. Daylight lasts roughly 16-22 hours depending on departure dates, with only a short stretch of true darkness. Layering is recommended, including wicking base layers, a fleece or light jacket, a rain jacket, and cycling tights or rain pants for wet days.
Suitable for:
Moderately fit cyclists comfortable with daily rides of 35-66 miles (56-106 km) over hilly to mountainous terrain, and remote, lodge-based touring on quiet frontier roads with rare traffic. The tour is not vegetarian friendly, as some remote lodges have limited menus focused on meat and fish; strict vegan diets are difficult to accommodate.

A 7-day e-bike journey along quieter northern roads, linking mountain villages, forest climbs, and lesser-visited cultural sites.
The Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai e-bike Tour follows Northern Thailand's secondary roads rather than main highways, trading traffic for texture and pace for depth. Over five days of riding, e-bikes let travellers handle hill sections comfortably while lingering in mountain villages and noticing regional detail that a faster-paced trip would miss.
The route links Chiang Mai's old city temples and riverside dining with a homestay in the mountain village of Pang Hai, forest riding through Chae Son National Park, and the white stupas of Wat Chaloem Phrakiat. Further north, farmland cycling around Phayao Lake gives way to the ancient ruins of Wiang Lo (explored by traditional samlor), the teak temple of Wat Nantaram, and Tai Lue heritage sites, before a final approach to Chiang Rai via Phu Sang National Park's waterfalls and hot springs.
This is a moderate, culturally immersive route suited to riders who prefer quieter backroads over tourist circuits.
Highlights:
- Ride Northern Thailand's quiet secondary roads on e-bikes, linking mountain villages and forest climbs
- Overnight at a mountain village homestay in Pang Hai and ride through Chae Son National Park
- Visit the white stupas of Wat Chaloem Phrakiat and cycle farmland around Phayao Lake
- Explore the ancient ruins of Wiang Lo by traditional samlor (pedicab) and visit the teak temple of Wat Nantaram
- Discover Tai Lue heritage sites and Phu Sang National Park's waterfalls and hot springs en route to Chiang Rai
Surface and terrain:
Riding is on Northern Thailand's secondary roads rather than main highways. Terrain varies by day: hilly with a slow climb on Day 2, a long slow climb through Chae Son National Park on Day 3, flat farmland and lakeside riding on Days 4 and 5, and a mix of flat sections and small hills approaching Chiang Rai on Day 6. e-bikes (Kaze e-bikes with pedal assist, spare batteries carried by the guide team) are provided throughout to smooth out the climbs.
Weather:
Best season is October to February. Typically warm days, upper 20s to low 30s°C.
Suitable for:
Riders with some cycling experience wanting a moderate, e-bike-assisted tour, best suited to "weekend warriors." Less experienced riders may still manage the trip but pre-tour conditioning is strongly recommended.
