If you’re looking for an active adventure exploring “off the beaten path” in Cambodia, this is the journey for you. Cycling is one of the best ways to experience the diverse scenery of Southeast Asia, and this adventure is sure to not disappoint. Our journey begins and ends in Siem Reap where we explore the majestic ancient temples of Angkor. Our adventure takes in the region’s first Angkorian era capital, Rolous, the vast wetlands surrounding Asia's largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap where local people have found ingenious ways to live with the ever changing water world before heading north. We’ll explore the sprawling jungle temple of Beng Mealea, stand in awe at the majestic, towering five tiered pyramid at Koh Ker and explore the truly remote temple complex at Preah Vihear which sprawls for 800m along the edge of a cliff in the Dangrek Mountains, forming a natural border between Cambodia and Thailand.
Our modern, comfortable bikes, support crew and steady pace mean that you’ll be free to enjoy the scenery along the way, with our backup vehicle available to give tired riders a break at any time. The combination of stunning rural scenery, back roads adventuring and engagement with local families makes this an ideal trip for anyone looking for an active and engaging journey in Cambodia.

Spectacular heli-biking in remote and rugged Central Asia
Cycling with horses across the grasslands of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, 1300m descents after being dropped off by a helicopter, rocky roads running alongside roaring rivers; this is mountain biking at its best! From Almaty we take you into the heart of the Tian Shan mountains. Snow capped mountains provide a stunning backdrop for our mountain biking adventure through valleys with lush pastures, and up to passes and plateaus that are teeming with grasslands and wildflowers. The only traffic will be the occasional horseman and we'll meet nomadic Kazakhs that have moved their flocks of sheep to high pastures.
From the cosmopolitan city of Almaty, we walk around this leafy city before heading to the mountains and rivers. We start biking again from the Turgen River Gorge, and the landscape quickly changes from pine trees to open rolling grasslands. Everyday we'll ascend up dirt roads to the top of passes, have adrenalin-inducing downhills and camp next to rushing rivers as we weave our way to the Karkara Valley. The highlight of our tour is two days heli-biking. We are flown to the lofty height of 3500m for an exhilarating descent on single track and jeep dirt roads back to our camp. The adventure continues as we climb to the top of the Mingtur Pass (3900m) and the Chon Ashy Pass (3820m) and descend into Kyrgyzstan.

Bali has a reputation as one of the most spectacular island paradises in the world. But there's more to Bali than water sports and fun-inthe-sun and people are quickly discovering that this wonderful destination has a little something for everyone, including mountain biking enthusiasts! With fast flowing rivers, deep canyons, crater lakes, and volcanoes dominating its interior landscape, Bali is an outdoor lover's dream come true. The island's multitude of tracks and trails link different villages to each other and provide endless opportunities for mountain bikers in search of a unique adventure featuring breath-taking scenery combined with fascinating glimpses of local culture.
If you're a rider who loves mountain biking and are up for a new challenge, then this tour will more than exceed your expectations. Once your wheel hits the ground prepare to be confronted with a variety of riding conditions including dirt tracks, forest trails, volcanic lava and sand as you trek the hidden trails that connect the remote parts of the island. While riding, witness a huge diversity of different environments from volcanic craters to beautifully crafted rice paddies and coconut groves. Along the way you'll have time to appreciate Balinese culture, which can be traced back to around the 1st Century AD, and the strong influence on Hinduism on the island's art, music, dance, sculpture, painting, leather, and metalworking. You won't have to go far to see locals making offerings of a basket filled with rice and flowers to various deities, including some to placate the volcano spirits, which is lucky for us considering that our ride takes us along the edges of the craters of Batur volcano.
