Classic Dry Creek Valley Bike Tour (guided) and Russian river Valley (self-guided)
Departing our touring center at 10am, you’ll casually ride through the rolling hills of the Dry Creek Valley stopping occasionally to visit some of our favorite local wineries.
Your guide may take you for a short walk among some 90 year old vines or stop to share an amazing vista. If you're a wine lover you'll get a rare chance to handle the dirt, inspect the vines and taste the wines of the Dry Creek Valley.Lunch200x200
By early afternoon we'll be ready for lunch and our Sonoma style picnic will be waiting! It is our belief that a great bike tour requires great food and since this is Sonoma County, you can expect locally grown, organic, fresh made and plenty of it!
After lunch we'll continue our bicycle tour to another winery, stop for some more scenic views and make our way back to our Touring Center by about 3:30 p.m. The route has some rolling hills along quiet country roads. It is designed for healthy, reasonably fit people who are comfortable riding a bike. The total riding distance is typically between 15-20 miles. Dinner will be at a wonderful wine country restaurant right in town.
Explore the Russian River Valley. Your supported self-guided tour will take you through Redwoods, ancient Oaks and flat plains filled with picturesque vines. Nestled amongst this are dozens of family run and small production wineries featuring amazing wines, elaborate gardens, landmark hop kilns and stunning visits. Our professional guides will help you plan the perfect ride and assist you with all details including where to get an amazing picnic and personal winery suggestions.
