Then discover Frelishburgh, one of the most beautiful villages in Québec and a veritable cycling paradise. You will also be able to explore the rich heritage of Sutton, a town founded in 1795, as well as that of Lac Brome (Knowlton), with its wooden chapel dating back to 1885 and many antique shops. Back in Bromont, end your getaway on a sweet note with a visit to the Chocolate Museum!

Montréal and Québec City are two legendary cities and between them we find quaint towns and villages spread-out amongst forests, fields and pastures waiting to be discovered. From Montréal to Québec, via the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, it’s a pedalling paradise!
 
Primarily agricultural, Lanaudière is a region of vast spaces with numerous rivers and lakes. Green with forests and meadows, Mauricie is divided by the Saint-Maurice River which was the industrial engine of the region. Further west, we discover Portneuf with its pretty houses decorated with dormer windows. From here, we can observe the Portneuf River and its impressive currents. Three regions of great beauty dotted with gentle slopes for cycling aesthetes.

Finally Québec, a Unesco World Heritage City. Well-preserved, Old Québec offers unforgettable excursions. Surrounded by impressive ramparts, Québec City has a charming European feeling. Art lovers will also enjoy exploring the museums of this city.

Not to be missed, a very pleasant tour of l’√éle d’Orl√©ans to enjoy the magnificent views of the St. Lawrence and its two shores and discover its rich national heritage.

The estuary takes you from Rivière-du-Loup to Matane, where eventually, in the words of Jacques Ferron, the sea marries water and sky. This poetic world tides, lighthouses, seals and whales offers many points of interest. See the waterfalls in Rivière-du-Loup or the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges church in Trois-Pistoles. Pedal along the sea coast paths in Rimouski or through the English Gardens in Grand-Métis. In Sainte-Flavie, marvel at Marcel Gagnon’s sculpted figures emerging from the sea or, in Saint-Ulric, the woodcarver’s house, a mix of folk and pop art. River and bike: the perfect getaway/discovery duo!

In the Lower St. Lawrence, the river already feels the call of the sea, with its bays, lighthouses and tides. It is a region steeped in history, where churches, windmills, old homes and charming villages abound. It is also a whole series of images etched in our memory: Île d’Orléans on the left, the dyke between Saint-Denis and Kamouraska and the staircase topography of Rivière-du-Loup, punctuated with several waterfalls. Going with the flow – for a week of cycling pleasure!

Paradise lost? Find it again in Majorca, a veritable cycling Eden. With its mills, vines and apricot trees, Majorca in spring and autumn is pure delight for cyclists. Even the most jaded will succumb! It all begins with the climb to Sant Salvador Monastery, where your efforts will be immediately rewarded by views of the irrigated almond groves and poppy fields of Pobla. Next up is a new climb to the paradise of Cap de Formentor! Then it’s on to the roads of Sa Colabra and Soller, the “golden valley,” followed by the gardens of Alfabia, adorned with lemon and orange trees. You will then find yourself in seventh heaven in Palma Bay and Valldemossa. In Majorca, every corner is a corner of paradise!
