The ancient Catalan city Girona, with its warren of winding streets, perched on a hillside in northern Catalonia is all we could ask for. The roads are quiet, the landscapes are to die for and the city is alive with culture and art.

Cycling in Girona is unlike cycling anywhere else in the world. It’s not just the weather, roads and architecture. It’s the fact you feel you’re wandering into the home of the professional peloton. It's a place where you can spend your days cycling alongside rugged pink rocks with the teal-coloured Mediterranean glimmering below, framed by grand, arabesquing pines on the Costa Brava or, on near deserted roads in gloriously wild parts and tastefully manicured in others. The region is also foodie’s paradise, not to mention superb, locally produced wines! ​ Leaving the world behind a picture postcard setting awaits you, settled in boutique luxury accommodation in the Catalan countryside, creating a glorious backdrop for morning or evening yoga after fantastic day on our bikes. Arriving home to fresh local produce prepared lovingly by our own in house cook, and who could forget the wine!

Setting off on our bikes to cycle the quiet back roads and discover places steeped in history and nature, you will absorb the sights, scents, tastes and atmosphere of Girona at handle bar level. When you’re not getting behind the handlebars, or on your yoga mat, you’ll be in retreat-mode. And our main priority is your enjoyment, meaning you’re always in control of your level of participation. ​ Our cycling and yoga retreat in Girona offers those precious quiet moments that fill us with awe and gratitude. The cycling is moderate but is designed to challenge you and the yoga is suitable for all levels, even the stiffest body! No yoga experience is necessary, just a willingness to try something new.
