The views really are as stunning as Sir Walter Scott described
We’ll start driving in the morning from Edinburgh. On the way to Aberfoyle we’ll have a stop half way for a little brake and refreshment. The tour starts from Aberfoyle, located in the Trossachs region of the Scottish Highlands. We’ll leave the van in a local and from there we’ll follow the route to Loch Katrine, which offers the chance to cycle in the beautiful national park. The views of the loch really are as stunning as Sir Walter Scott described, making this one of the most picturesque spots in Scotland.
On the way, you’ll pass Loch Ard and Loch Chon which offer stunning views and a breathtaking scenery.
At the half-way point of the journey, just when we arrive at Loch Katrine, it’s time for a pit stop at the “Pier Cafe” in Stronachlachar for an authentic Scottish brunch.
After the break, we’re back in the saddle, following the route in the direction of Trossachs, along the shores of the Loch which has a great wild atmosphere with lots of native trees and birds life.
We’ll finish the tour at Trossachs Pier where Ricky will collect his van from the start, giving you time to rest before we drive back to Edinburgh.
