Donauwörth – Regensburg – Passau

This relaxing tour takes you right across the Free State of Bavaria. Along the Danube you will encounter very different historic cities and beautiful unspoiled countryside. Ingolstadt with its old fortifications is on your route. This is where the Bavarian Beer Purity Law was passed in 1516. You will pass the Danube Gorge in Weltenburg before you reach Regensburg at the northernmost point of the Danube on its almost 2,800 km journey to the Black Sea. Passau is the Town of Three Rivers, where Inn, Ilz and Danube flow into each other. On the way you will have enough time to enjoy this truly amazing panorama along the Bavarian Danube Cycle Path.
