Borkum, Norderney and East-Frisian

East Frisia and its islands are calling! Greet the sheep on the dykes as you pedal past on your bike. When the tide goes out, try a walk through the mud-flats or have a refreshing dip when the tide comes in. An introduction to the traditional niceties of an East Frisian Tea Ceremony is a must, and then you can have a go at shelling prawns and simply enjoy the view from a lighthouse. On your cycling holiday in East Frisia you will be cycling along the North Sea coast and will be able to take trips to the islands of Borkum and Nordeney. You'll learn what makes North Germany so special: its countryside and people, who have found a way to live comfortably with each other – not without developing a number of very endearing characteristics.
