Paradesa Borneo is an adventure travel company that pioneered cycle tours in Sarawak, Borneo Malaysia.
Established in 2013. they are a fully licensed & insured responsible travel tour operator and are a member of the Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) and the Association of Sarawak Inbound Agencies (ASIA).
In 2013, Paradesa Borneo started Kuching city first half-day cycle trips that explored heritage landmarks close to the river. They were designed for non-cyclists to offer an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional mini-bus city tours. Based in old Kuching town, close to the riverside boulevard, we have since tapped more local knowledge to create a wide range of cycling tours that explore heritage and nature destinations beyond the state capital and across Borneo.
Paradesa Borneo currently offers a range of day tours that categorized under local bike discovery as well as adventure cycling, in addition to the multi-day bike tours featuring more than 10 different guided cycling holiday in Borneo from 3 days (2 nights) to 14 days (13 nights), all-inclusive guided tour arrangement including support vehicle.

On the tropical island of Borneo, we tackle two countries, 8 international crossings and 1,370 kilometers in 12 cycling days! We cycle end-to-end, travelling East to West from the Malaysian state of Sarawak, to ends in style in the eastern Sabah state, and along the way cross the border into the Kingdom of Brunei.
We start by riding out of the charming capital of Sarawak, Kuching, on mostly flat terrain through thick mangrove forests, paddy fields and plantations. Passing through a fascinating mix of fishing villages, rustic old towns, remote national parks and vibrant coastal cities, the first half of the ride allow you to discover Sarawak's interesting mix of tribal cultures and fascinating wildlife.
After a relaxing rest day at the seaside resort city of Miri, we continue the second half of the trip by crisscrossing into the Kingdom of Brunei, the richest oil rich country in the world, to discover it’s colorful mosques and rural villages.
Entering Malaysia state of Sabah is the final and most challenging leg of the trip. The dramatic mountains of the Crooker Range offered stunning landscape and tough climbs before the thrilling descend down from the base camp of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Borneo, to our final destination of Kota Kinabalu.

Discover the off road jungle trails of a historical gold mining town! Cycle through the rocky Rainforest terrain leading to the oldest gold mines in Sarawak and visit Kuching’s most famous caves, The Wind & Fairy Caves.
After a scenic 45 minutes car trip, ride off to our first stop Wind Caves to walk through the dark caverns where you can hear the bats hanging from the ceiling of the cave as well as the searching for swiftlet bird nests on the cave wall! Then head off road to discover some hidden gold mines whilst tackling some of the rocky trails leading us to our half way point for refreshments and a visit to the impressive Fairy Caves. After the caves its off road again to experience the challenging up and downhill of the Rainforest trails! We will then load up our bikes and head off to town for a well deserved lunch.
Rain or shine we always ride! A good level of fitness is required for this tour and some off road experience would be an advantage. No Helmet, No Ride!

Our tour start off with a bang by taking a boat trip to a beautiful turtle island in the South China Sea. After a night at the orangutan sanctuary, we ride west to explore the beautiful coastal provinces, visiting friendly fishing villages on our leisurely cycle. We ride through the stunning mountain scenery of Gunung Gading National Park on the way to a beach resort in Lundu.
We end our cycling on the coast of the Sematan Town, where the beaches are seemingly endless. A great four days ride to explore Borneo’s wildlife, culture, scenery and of course the beautiful coastline!
