Explore the picturesque bays, rugged coastlines and rare wildlife of Southland by bike. This tour begins by cycling alongside Lake Wakatipu and the Fiordland National Park before visiting the world’s most southern city, Invercargill.
Ride along the remote Catlins Coast, home to an ancient petrified forest, fur seals, rare hectors dolphins and the the world’s rarest penguin – the yellow‑eyed penguin. Next up is a visit to Dunedin – The Edinburgh of the South, famous for the Otago Peninsula and the Royal albatross. You end the tour with a stop in the Victorian city of Oamaru on the way up to Christchurch.
