Great rides, great food, a great deal of history and some racing action all bundled up with an enourmous amount of local content
After arriving we will take a short drive to our very comfortable accommodation on the edge of Lake Como. A quick setup and ride before drinks and dinner and good nights sleep to reset the body into Italy time.
Day 2 we take on the smooth lakeside roads, beautiful vistas from lookouts that this area has to offer. We will point out some historical landmarks and details about the area and enjoy luches overlooking the lake.
Once we have ridden the lake we will head to the beautiful city/village of Lucca. This is a pretty place to stay and ride and has some much to offer and see.
A few days here and you feel like you are part of a small village.
Then we are off to Gaiole in Tuscany and L'eroica Gran Fondo. What an amazing event this is. Gaiole is the heart of L'eroica. The roads are busy with classic pre-1988 road bikes of every model and configuration. Tuscany Its an amazing place to experience on it's own, but when L'eroica is in the air, it's just brilliant. This is a bucket list ride inside a bucket list tour that will surely be a lifelong memorable event.
