It is truly Italian and a fantastic way to see a lot of Rome and its surroundings. 

It's not all about the bike. We will have time to self explore and head off to see what you can find, or we can show you around and hang with the locals to show us around the neighbourhood and get to see a different side of Rome. We collect you in Lyon and head straight to our base at the foot of some of the best rides in France.

Day 1 we are cruising valleys and cols to great destinations. Alpe d'huez, Glandon, Galibier and a couple of new loops. This region is just fantastic for sightseeing and enjoying the French hospitality. Moving on from here we head into Provence to enjoy the region and take on the Mighty Mont Ventoux. What a beautiful part of France with rolling hills and amazing French countryside that are a delight to ride. 

Once we have beaten the giant, we wind our way down onto the beautiful Cote d'Azur on the French Riviera. Here we will enjoy the hills above Nice and the beautiful little villages that are scattered throughout. . What better way to start than with beautiful Lake Como. We reside right on the waterfront. It's a very picturesque setting that will stick with you forever.

Once we have ridden and eaten our way around the lake, we head to the wine region of Piedmonte. We will settle in a local village and get to sample many of the local wines, delicious foods on offer and enjoy a wine tour by local winemakers.

Heading East we will reside on the largest lake in Italy, Lake Garda. Our village is steeped in history and the perfect place to ride the lake and hills that surround it. Dont miss out on this opportunity to get to ride and experience one of the best riding locations in the world. This is a tour for those that want to take in more of what Italy has to offer from the saddle of a bike. It's the best way. 

After arriving we will take a short drive to our very comfortable accommodation on the edge of Lake Como. A quick setup and ride before drinks and dinner and good nights sleep to reset the body into Italy time.

Day 2 we take on the smooth lakeside roads, beautiful vistas from lookouts that this area has to offer. We will point out some historical landmarks and details about the area and enjoy luches overlooking the lake. 

Once we have ridden the lake we will head to the beautiful city/village of Lucca. This is a pretty place to stay and ride and has some much to offer and see.

A few days here and you feel like you are part of a small village.

Then we are off to Gaiole in Tuscany and L'eroica Gran Fondo. What an amazing event this is. Gaiole is the heart of L'eroica. The roads are busy with classic pre-1988 road bikes of every model and configuration. Tuscany Its an amazing place to experience on it's own, but when L'eroica is in the air, it's just brilliant. This is a bucket list ride inside a bucket list tour that will surely be a lifelong memorable event. 

This tour is for the purists that want to test themsleves on some of the best and highest roads in Italy. We start out with some great viewing rides along the shores of Lake Como. It's the best way to get adjusted to the Italian way of cycling. Our awesome accommodation is lakeside and has one the best breakfast views over the lake there is. We will cruise the lake as well as climb to a few lookouts. Amazing climbs, smooth long winding downhill runs. Add to this some great dining locations and its just perfect.

Our next stop is Bormio. This is when we really get our legs working and ride one of the highest sealed roads in Italy. Stelvio day is a special one for many. A little sighter the day before and we really get the feel for climbs.

Next is The Dolomites, part of the Unesco World Heritage list. Along the way we will take in some amazing sightseeing and historical places. We base ourselves in our cosy accommodation in Corvara. Once we arrive, we will take a in a light ride to get our legs and a feel for the amazing area we are in. The sightseeing is spectacular with mountains and rides in every direction, nice accommodation and excellent choice for dining. We will do a couple of loops around with spectactular views around every corner. It is truly one of our favourite spots. Final day we will bid farewell to The Alps and head for Venice or Milan to send you on your way home or further afield.
