Developed together with the cycling café behind the Race Around Rwanda.
Eight days of gravel across a country that changes character every day: volcanoes, tea plantations, rainforest and the northern twin lakes. Developed together with the cycling café behind the Race Around Rwanda, this is a shorter, more accessible loop than their 1,000 km race, with plenty of challenge and still time to enjoy the country. You ride the full loop from Kigali to the Nyungwe rainforest and back, led throughout by Yannick, founder of Legendary Rides, alongside a local partner who designed and tested every route.
Every day has a long and a short route leading to the same hotel, this means you can decide every day how you heel and how long you'd like to ride. In total 446–619 km and 10,900–15,900 m climbing · guaranteed departure.

Founder-ridden. Desert, mountains, olive groves. Six days of riding you won't forget.
This is an 8-day loop starting and ending in Granada. Six days in the saddle, through landscapes that don't look like they belong in the same country: the eroded canyons of the Gorafe Desert, the wild peaks of the Sierra de Cazorla, river valleys, almond fields, and a final climb back through pine forest into the city.
Yannick rode every kilometre of this route before it went live. The accommodations, the food stops, the water points in the desert: all of it is in your route guide, tested and noted.
You ride at your own pace. You make your own decisions. And if something goes wrong, we're a phone call away.
Total: 458 km, 8,510 m of elevation. Six cycling days, two days in Granada.
Terrain: Gravel roads, desert tracks, mountain trails, olive grove paths, and quiet tarmac
You ride on your own terms, with the people you booked with. No unknown group to keep up with, no fixed pace. We take care of the route, the accommodation, and the backup. The GPS is loaded, the beds are booked, and Kees is reachable if anything comes up. You just ride.

Four to six days. 440 km. Five gravel regions in one loop. The full picture of the Netherlands.
The Big Five was built in collaboration with Cobbles Cycling and The Gravelracer, two names the Dutch gravel community knows well. The route covers the five gravel regions that serious riders talk about: the Veluwe, the Kroondomein, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Achterhoek, and Montferland. Four to six days, nearly 450 km and beyond, starting and ending in Arnhem near the train station.
This is not a beginner route. Daily distances run between 108 and 117 km. The climbing is real, especially on day 4 where you hit the Posbank. But it's also not chaos. The route is tested, the accommodations are handpicked, and Kees is reachable by WhatsApp from day one to day six.
You'll visit Radio Kootwijk and the royal forests of the Kroondomein on day 1, the beautiful Sallandse Heuvelrug on day 2, ancient oak-lined lanes in the Achterhoek on day 3, and the famous Posbank climb on the final push home. These are places most Dutch cyclists have heard of and never done in sequence. Four days makes the full loop possible, with the option to take five or six days for a more relaxed pace.
Terrain: Mixed gravel roads, forest paths, singletracks, cobblestones, and some asphalt
You ride on your own terms, with the people you booked with. No unknown group to keep up with, no fixed pace. We take care of the route, the accommodation, and the backup. The GPS is loaded, the beds are booked, and Kees is reachable if anything comes up. You just ride.
