From Bolzano to Verona, the safest and greenest bike path of the country.
The Ciclopista del Sole, the Sun Route (which in its full length goes from Brennero to Firenze) is already a classic: almost all flat with majestic mountains all around, safe and well signposted, with excellent bike cafes along the path and nice cities where to stop by. The path initially goes through a peculiar area of Italy: a region where the language, the history of the places, the typical recipes have a lot to do with the German tradition. Once you leave the mountains behind, no German language nor knödeln any more, but pasta and Valpolicella! Enjoy this easy itinerary and discover the nice cities of Bolzano, Trento, Rovereto and Verona, by bike.
