3 Beautiful Bays in 1 Day
Our Latest and Greatest!
We start with an hour and half drive south of Hua Hin to the Burmese border where they have a market and border crossing (only for Burmese and Thai’s so far). This point is the narrowest point of Thailand and the distance from the border to the beach (Gulf of Thailand) is only 12 km wide.
We ride primarily downhill to the beach and visit a lovely aquarium before cycling up the coast and onto a Thai Air Force Base where we have nice views from the beach at Ao Manao (Lime Bay). We then cycle a bit further along scenic beach-front roads to the bottom of a mountain where we can feed gentle Dusky Langur Monkeys.
After that we continue along to Ao Prachuap (Prachuap Bay) where we have a delicious family-style seafood lunch overlooking the bay. After lunch we continue on more breathtaking beach-front roads to Ao Noi (Little Bay) where we visit a beautiful teak wood temple with carvings and paintings of Buddhist stories and other Thai style artwork. At the temple we will demonstrate for those that want to try, how Buddhists pay respect to the temple and the Lord Buddha.

This is a beautiful 25km (or longer) ride with fabulous beachfront cycling on virtually traffic free roads. If you want sun, sand, sea, and views 'to die for', this is the ride for you!
After 25km we can offer additional riding for those that want to add a few more kilometers on the bike. If Hua Hin is as far south as you have been along the “Royal Coast”, you will want to see the beaches we ride on throughout this tour.
Starting the trip at the south end of Dolphin Bay, just 50 minutes drive south of Hua Hin, we will ‘fit’ you with your bike and helmet and prepare for departure from here. Then for the next hour it is mile after mile of beautiful seafront riding, with almost nobody else in sight. Maybe just a few cattle on the beach, honestly… see the photos!
We then turn off the beachfront to cycle through some fishing villages and after a few kilometers we drop back down onto the seafront again in the Khao Kalok Bay.
Once again, there is beautiful riding for a further few kilometers along the beach, until we reach Khao Kalok itself. This is where we have the option of trekking up a couple nature trails that take us up to a mountain top viewpoint and also over to a private beach with spectacular rock formations from being battered by the sea for thousands of years.
Before stopping for lunch we refresh with some fresh coconut and continue cycling along the coast into Pranburi Beach where there are many boutique resorts to discover for future visits to the area. We stop at one of our favorite Thai restaurants for a variety of Thai seafood delicacies to conquer even the heartiest of appetites while looking out onto the bay and the colorful Thai fishing boats.
After lunch we continue on to yet another stretch of beautiful beaches with luxurious seaside homes and a few quiet resorts here and there. We will pass through the large fishing town of Pak Nam Pran (translates to Mouth of the Pranburi River) and finish at a lush forest park for a nice walk through the Mangrove forest. If time permits and riders want to get in a few more kilometers they can choose to continue on some rolling hills to the village of Khao Tao.

This trip encapsulates my two favorite pastimes. Mountain biking and wine!
What a great combination! At the start of the ride we visit Wat Huay Mongkhol. This monument west of Hua Hin is not a statue of The Lord Buddha, but instead a statue of a monk. Luang Phor Tuad was the legendary Southern Thai monk, immensely popular with the Southern Thais and increasingly so elsewhere in the Kingdom for the miracles associated with him. Thailand’s Queen Sirikit commissioned the temple site that houses the largest statue of Luang Phor Tuad ‘in the world’. Not only is Wat Huay Mongkhol regarded as a holy place but it has also become a recreational area for visitors in an attractive setting that many people seek out on weekends and holidays.

The Historical Hua Hin bicycle tour is a well-rounded familiarization tour of Hua Hin that can be instrumental to each rider and their holiday desires as to what they would like to see and do while visiting Hua Hin.
We highly recommend that you make the Historical Hua Hin tour one of the first things you do when you arrive in Hua Hin. This tour will give you great insight as to what there is to do while in Hua Hin, how to get around, where to eat, what to see, where to party, and so much more.
This ride caters to “Confident Cyclists” as we do spend some time in downtown traffic and ride up and down a few noticeable hills.

We start by riding along beautiful Sam Roi Yod Beach and head into the national park to Ban Pu (Crab Village) where we take a long-tail boat (weather permitting) around Tian Mountain to Laem Sala Beach where we hike up, and then down into Tham Phraya Nakhon Cave.
Extreme caution has to be taken and proper footwear worn as the rocks are sharp and can be slippery.
The cave is actually two large sinkholes, the roofs of which have collapsed allowing sunlight & rain to reach the floor, where trees have rooted reaching for the ceiling.
The central focus within the cave is a four-gabled roofed pavilion bathed by natural light, which was built for the visit of King Rama V on June 20th, 1890. This vast cavern high on a hill is the favorite destination for visitors to the park.
After visiting the cave we return to Ban Pu by boat for a lovely family-style seafood lunch on the beach. After lunch we continue to ride through the park with refreshment stops along the way to Wat Khao Daeng with a spectacular mountainous backdrop. Then it is on to Khao Daeng Viewpoint, an incredible vantage point overlooking a vast area of the park.

Tour Operator Hua Hin Bike Tours
This ride is for experienced riders that really want a good workout while getting a familiarization tour of Hua Hin.
The reason we call it the “Hell Ride” is because to get to some of the scenic views and really get a detailed visual of Hua Hin you will need to climb some short but extremely vertical mountains that will make your heart feel like it wants to jump out of your chest. We start by heading to the “other side of the tracks” and follow them to the Hua Hin Train Station on our way to a small road that will take us up into the hills of Hua Hin. Just as we start to climb these modest hills we will turn and take the “Extremely Vertical” road up to the top of Khao Hin Lek (Small Stone Mountain) Fire Viewpoint to check out the points of interest in Hua Hin, where we came from, where we are going, where you are staying, and just about every place else in Hua Hin.
