From the Dolomites to Venice

The mountain range of the Dolomites, listed as UNESCO World Heritage, includes some of the most spectacular and well known peaks in the whole world. Resounding names like the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, the Pale di San Martino and the Marmolada have written mountaineering history. Even if throughout the Dolomites one comes across several luxurious ski resorts, also small characteristic villages can still be found. A fairyland where lush meadows nestle against towering limestone peaks, of all different colours. With beautiful small lakes, and wooden houses in the valleys.
