Discover Amsterdam: a 1.5-hour guided city bike tour

This 1.5-hour guided ride takes in Amsterdam’s most iconic landmarks and lively neighbourhoods by the city’s favourite mode of transport. Starting near Dam Square, small groups follow a friendly local guide past the Royal Palace, the Anne Frank House, the Westerkerk and through the narrow canal-lined streets of the Jordaan.

Regular stops along the way allow time for photos and for stories about Amsterdam’s history, architecture and traditions. Riders use comfortable, well-maintained 3-speed city bikes with handbrakes, and the tour kicks off with a free coffee.

With its short duration, the tour fits easily into a sightseeing day and suits both first-time visitors wanting a quick orientation and returning travellers keen to see the city from a local perspective. Tours run rain or shine, with complimentary ponchos provided when needed.

Suitable for
First-time and returning visitors wanting a short, easy introduction to the city. Riders should be comfortable in traffic; those out of practice are advised to rent a bike first or choose the Countryside tour. Minimum age 12.
