Spend the day like a true Parisian as you bike to our favorite foodie hot spots to pick up the essential ingredients for the perfect French picnic. Learn how to order in French with your local guide so you will be set for the rest of your trip!

You can purchase exactly what you like along the way and share your spoils with your new friends with an envy-inducing Instagram-able picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower as the day comes to an end.

After picking up your bike, we’ll cruise to the famous Poilâne bakery for a peek inside the ovens to see the fresh, slow-fermentation bread handcrafted for three generations and coveted around the world. Every good picnic needs some charcuterie - we’ll pop into a favorite local spot where you’ll learn how to order the perfect amount. Next, we’ll need some cheese - your guide and your fromager will explain the types of cheese in France and how they are made. We’ll have a taste and choose our favorites for later, to be paired with the perfect wine, which is, of course, our next stop at a charming wine boutique.

There will be time to explore a local market where you can supplement your picnic goodies with fresh fruit and seasonal produce. But wait, save room for dessert! We’ll swing past Pierre Hermé, the famous macaron artisan, for something sweet to finish our feast.

We recommend buying things as we go to make up a glorious picnic at the end for dinner! We'll finish at the Eiffel Tower, and you can stay for as long as you'd like. So take advantage of having a guide with you to help you with your purchases, and spend the evening watching the sunset behind the Eiffel Tower with a perfect picnic spread.

Please Note: Tastings are not included at every stop. A few small tastings (cheese & wine) are included, but the tour is designed for you to buy your own at the stops. Please bring euros in cash. There is a picnic at the end at the Eiffel Tower, so you can purchase wine for a pre-dinner drink, or a couple macarons, or a full-on meal for dinner. It's up to you!
