Explore Golden Gate Park on this bike tour
While you could spend hours on foot walking around Golden Gate Park, riding around on a bicycle is a fun and effortless way to cover tons of ground without exhausting yourself! Alongside a local tour guide, you'll hear entertaining stories and facts about what you're seeing, as you're seeing it. Spanning over 1,000 acres, Golden Gate Park is home to the Conservatory of Flowers, an Arboretum, beautiful Botanical Gardens, the Shakespeare Garden and the famous Japanese Tea Gardens. We'll cruise around Stow Lake with views of Strawberry Hill - where your guide will fill you in on some fascinating haunted history!
The tour will make its way to the beach on the western side of the park where you'll enjoy sights like the Bison Paddock, Spreckles Lake, and more. We make an optional stop for refreshments and snacks at a local restaurant inside the park where you have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks (cost not included). After your tour, we suggest enjoying two of the park's world-class museums: the California Academy of Sciences and the DeYoung.
