"Cycling and hiking vacations that are just a little bit different"
The Dutch company Eye4Cycling organizes cycling holidays in Spain (Ibiza), Macedonia, Greece and Turkey. Guided, self guided and boat & bike tours. And also hiking holidays.
It is owned by Raymond Bouwer and he has been conceiving and organizing cycling vacations since 2009.
As a “cycling nomad,” I travel the world to find the most beautiful, preferably hidden, places where I map out cycling and hiking routes. The cycling vacations in Spain, Greece, Macedonia and Turkey are all put together by us. By now I have gathered a great team around me. All team members are happy to help guide the bicycle trips in the right way. It is my passion to create extraordinary cycling trips and I am happy to provide a customized cycling trip entirely according to the guest’s wishes. This personal touch and flexibility is very important to me. Do you have a special request or want more information about one of our trips? Please feel free to contact me!

A cycling vacation through centuries of ancient civilizations
The first 3 days of your cycling vacation you will stay in the cozy port town of Fethiye. Fethiye is still a real typical Turkish place and is a bustling place in both summer and winter and enjoys great fame especially among the Turks themselves.
Fethiye is located on a beautiful bay surrounded by the foothills of the Taurus Mountains with a cozy bazar with all kinds of stores. We have some wonderful cycling routes for you here.
Then the cycling vacation continues and after Göcek you will cycle through a mostly flat area on quiet roads past pomegranate trees to lively Dalyan. The river delta near Dalyan is a protected nature reserve known for the Caretta Caretta turtles, which come to lay their eggs on the beach at Iztuzu….
The last 2 days of your stay in Turkey you will cycle around the nearby lake and spend the night in the cozy town of Köycegiz overlooking the lake.

Netherlands landscapes - rush, river, forest and moorland.
A bicycle tour of the Veluwe’s most beautiful spots
During this cycling vacation, you will be introduced to one of the oldest landscapes in the Netherlands. Formed in the Ice Ages when glaciers here raised the hills into ramparts. Later, the Rhine and Meuse rivers found their way to the North Sea from here, forming the Dutch Delta. Because the area is above sea level, settlement by hunting peoples took place here as early as the third century. Their burial mounds are still recognizable in the country . Nijmegen was a major Roman settlement, making it one of the oldest places in the Netherlands. Near Berg en Dal, you will cycle through a wide variety of landscapes, such as the river landscape of Maas and Niers and the lateral wall landscape near Groesbeek. Cycling past estates such as Doornwerth Castle and Jachthuis Sint Hubertus in Hoge Veluwe National Park. Along the way, you will also visit the Hanseatic city of Doesburg and cycle through the vast natural areas of Montferland and the border region with Germany. Through the Ooij polder you cycle back to where you started this cycling vacation: Berg en Dal. In short, a wonderful and versatile cycling vacation through (perhaps) the most beautiful part of the Netherlands!

The great unknown. Insane northern Macedonia.
The pristine splendor of the unknown! Hospitality and culture as greatest wealth
During the 11-day cycling trip through Northern Macedonia and Albania, you will cycle individually or in groups past the most beautiful places. Consider spending the night in an old monastery and cycling along many rivers and lakes. This cycling trip has been put together with great care by us. Northern Macedonia and Albania are perfect countries for taking a cycling vacation. These beautiful and still relatively unknown Balkan (cycling) countries are characterized by beautiful nature, rich history, friendly people and low-traffic well-paved roads.
Cycling in northern Macedonia
While cycling in Northern Macedonia, you will discover the rich history of the country. Turkish influences in particular, as a result of centuries of domination by the Ottoman Empire, can be seen in Macedonian culture. During this bicycle tour, you will spend 1 night in a magnificent monastery: the Monastery of Sveti Naum. In one of the most beautiful places on Lake Ohrid! The monastery is best known for the monks Sveti Naum and Sveti Clement, students of Cyril and Methodius, the founders of the Cyrillic script. You will cycle through natural parks, passing many streams and as many as 4 lakes along the way. Ohrid, located on the lake of the same name, is also called the place of 365 monasteries; one for every day. There is ample opportunity to visit some of these fine structures during this cycling vacation.
Cycling in Albania
Albania was a remote corner of the Ottoman Empire for centuries and has been a parliamentary democracy since the fall of the communist regime in 1991. While cycling in Albania, you will notice that much has been invested in the country’s infrastructure. Halfway through this trip, you will cross the Albanian border at Kafasan and cycle along the Albanian portion of Lake Ohrid and Prespa. Along Lake Ohrid in Albania, there is a beautiful bicycle path that is no less than 20 kilometers long.
