Roundtrip Nature Park Jura Vaudois

From which fairy tale did Nyon Castle emerge? How enchanted it stands on the shores of Lake Geneva and marks the beginning of your story about your bike tour through the Jura Vaudois nature park. You leave the lake behind you for the time being and make your way up the steep flanks to the hills of the Jura.

Here the small villages of Bassins, Bière and L'Isle tell their own story and are waiting to be discovered by you. The detour to the medieval old town of Romainmôtier, with its abbey, ends almost pompously; afterwards, you will open a new chapter with a ride through the quiet Vallée de Joux. The ascent to the Col du Marchairuz will probably be the hardest part of your journey. The view of the Mont Blanc and the descent to the vineyards around Nyon will be an exhilarating finale shortly thereafter!

The tour leads you in constant up and down along the southern slopes of the Jura. Occasionally there are steep climbs that require good basic fitness. The tour itself takes you on quiet side roads through the Jura Vaudois Nature Park.
