A five-day, self-guided ride along the Rhine from Lake Constance to Basel, past Europe's largest waterfall.
This self-guided tour follows the Rhine from Rorschach on Lake Constance to Basel, opening with a ride through Thurgau's castle and orchard country before reaching the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. The route then passes the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, Europe's mightiest waterfall, before following the Hochrhein through historic villages and floodplains.
Later stages take in the wellness town of Bad Zurzach and the four-bridged old town of Koblenz, before finishing past the Roman ruins of Augusta Raurica into Basel.
