If you are dreaming of discovering the lush, green countryside of the Piedmont region, riding past rivers, hills, vineyards and lakes then look no further!

The tour sees you ride between two Italian capitals. Beginning in the elegant city of Turin, which today is capital of the Piedmont region, but during medieval times was the capital of the Duchy of Savoy and even the Kingdom of Italy, and ends in Milan, the glamorous Italian capital of business and fashion.

Along the way you will ride through the Piedmont and Lombardy regions, pedaling past rivers, verdant hills and the azure-coloured lakes of Viverone, Orta and Maggiore. A few notable highlights from the trip include stays in Gattinara, a village reknowned for its wine bars, where you will be able to taste exquisite wines, and in Pavia, an ancient medieval capital and refined university city from where you can discover the Certosa, a splendid monastery dating from the fourteenth century.

And what better way to finish your day in the saddle than by enjoying some of the region’s local specialities? Perhaps veal agnolotti, or a taste of the famed white truffle of Alba, paired with a glass of Barolo or Barbaresco.
