Cycling Country’s ramble down the Med is the one for you then. Short and Sweet, it is a perfect long weekend break for those who want a bit of biking and a lot of beaches, sun and Andalucian culture of tapas and fun. Great for a family or a couple who want easy and stress free cycling.

Starting off in true Costa del Sol style and spend the evening in Benalmadena before cycling on a mix of road and cycle paths to the cultural city of Málaga with its rooftop bars, galleries and traditional Andalucian boardwalks and historical centre. Enjoy an optional guided walk around town and try out some tapas before taking a dip in the Med. Continue on and take a slow ride down the coast to tranquil Torre del Mar, a local Andalucian beach town where you can enjoy fresh fish dinners. Stunning scenery accompanies you on your bike trip to Nerja, with its mountain views, charming centre and lovely atmosphere. Take time to visit the famous cave complex nearby or relax on the golden beach.

Distances are a daily average of 25km. The route is easy going ride alongside a large seaside landscape. You will have lots of time to explore. Terrain – Flat with good surface. It is a mix of coastal roads and cycle paths, sometimes hard packed dirt. Expect busier areas around Malaga and Nerja. Suitable for hybrid and e-bikes. The tour is also family friendly due to the shorter distances and easier, flatter riding.
