The Key Climbs of North Spain
Come with us and encounter what we believe will be the decisive stages of this year’s Vuelta. A shorter and explosive tour to experience the Key Mountain stages in the famous mountains of North Spain. The end of the 2nd week is where this year’s race could be turned upside down, on the big climbs of Asturias and Castille & Leon. The mountain passes you will ride are famous in Vuelta cycling, and the cat 1s and ski stations summits a plenty.
And you will need to get your climbing legs ready as we head to the hardest finish at this year’s Vuelta – the incredible Hors Category Cuitu Negru! Be there on race day on the craziest of Vuelta stages.
These will be the climbs where new legends are born. With VIP access at the finish lines and some beautiful roads to pedal across and Camino de Santiago sights to see, this tour encompasses everything La Vuelta stands for: passion, emotion and a great spectacle! A truly amazing itinerary focusing on the climbs.
The tour is suited for the rider who just loves mountain scenery. Plus it is an ideal extension to ride some of the best stages before carrying on to the Last Week tour, all the way to Madrid!
