Our cycling tour in the Camino begins in the charming city of Leon , 332 km away from Santiago. We then cross the impressive open space of Castilian plains gradually climbing to the highest point of the trip, the "Iron Cross" (1.505 m) that has become one of the abiding symbols of the pilgrim way of St. James. Then we ride through fertile valleys full of vineyards in the Bierzo region and finally through the green countryside of rural Galicia before reaching Santiago de Compostela.
