Experience Patagonia with Cog Wild & the Coyhaique River Lodge

Cog Wild is thrilled to expand its operations with a superb, one-of-a-kind Patagonia mountain biking adventure. Escape the winter and join us for a 7-day tour outside of Coyhaique, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia. Coyhaique is located in the Aysen region of Chile, in a beautiful valley between the world-class Simpson and Coyhaique rivers.

This pristine region is for the true adventurer who wants to bike where few have biked before. The trail is wild, spectacular and rustic – through nearby mountains and lush forests, carving across tantalizing ridgelines and along the banks of unspoiled rivers. Ride historical local foot and cattle trails, past farms and national forests, and enjoy mate with the local gauchos (Chilean cowboys). Explore Patagonia the way the locals do and leave wanting more.

Your home base will be the luxurious Coyhaique River Lodge where you will enjoy fantastic local food and pamper yourself between your daily adventures. The region surrounding the lodge is very diverse so you will sample a wide variety of terrain – mainly forest trails ranging from soft and rocky in high alpine ranges to fast, smooth, and narrow track with technical features.

Though mountain biking will be your primary activity, there will be plenty of opportunities for hiking, rafting, fly fishing and exploring other nearby natural treasures.
