White temple and Khun Kon waterfall

A covered pick up truck will transfer you to the starting point, outside Chiang Rai city. it takes about 15 minutes. After a short safety briefing and personalized bicycle fitting, we begin our cycling through villages, rice fields and then follow the Lao River upstream. While you are cycling you will discover the real rural Thailand and see the local lifestyle. We stop and visit the amazing white temple (Wat Rong Khun) and then have lunch at a local restaurant near the temple.

In the afternoon we continue cycling to see more local lifestyle, rice fields and various fruit orchards. We finish cycling at Namtok Khun Kon Forest Park where you will enjoy walking through bamboo forest and rain forest to Khun Kon waterfall, the highest and most scenic waterfall in Chiang Rai, 70 metres high (20 minutes nature walk to the waterfall). After relaxing at the waterfall our covered pick up truck will transfer you back to the hotel (05.30 - 06.30 pm).
