A fun ride along the waterfronts of Brooklyn & Queens to Roosevelt Island.

Starting near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, this tour takes you along North Brooklyn’s Waterfront into Greenpoint and then across the Polaski Bridge into Long Island City, Queens to see the new developments. We cross into Roosevelt Island to visit the countries first Small Pox Hospital and, perhaps, grab a bite on the island with great views of Manhattan and Queens in the middle of the East River. We ride back through South Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, Fort Green & Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn to capture views of historic Brown-stones. A great ride for cyclists and a great way to see the diversity of Brooklyn & Queens Neighborhoods.

We start the tour near the Brooklyn Navy Yard to receive your bikes. We head into Williamsburg along the waterfront to our first stop at Other Half Brewing Company. Here we may stop at Roberta’s for pizza as an option, depending on timing. We go into Greenpoint Brooklyn to visit Greenpoint Brewing Company before going into South Brooklyn to visit other breweries and options like Frankies in Carroll Gardens.

The tour ends where we started with a short 5 minute walk to Transmitter Brewing Company for your last celebratory beer… and the Ferry Back to Manhattan is right across the street. Perfectly planned and coordinated by Brooklyn Giro Bike Tours. One inclusive price covers it all - food and beers.

This tour starts in Dumbo, Brooklyn on the waterfront.We head across the Manhattan Bridge on the North Side with sweeping views of Midtown Manhattan's East Side, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Wallabout Bay into Chinatown.

We travel under the FDR on a protected bike path and stop for a group photo with the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridges in the backdrop - a great picture for you to show how cool you really are!The tour heads into the historic South Street Sea Port with reminders of a shipping industry gone. We head down Fulton Street with views of the Freedom Tower & One World Trade Center directly above.

We stop in City Hall Park which boasts views of The Woolworth Building, The Tweed Courthouse, The Municipal Building and Park Row.

We then head across the Brooklyn Bridge, the oldest suspension bridge in the US, with grand views of downtown Manhattan and The Statue of Liberty.Into Downtown Brooklyn & Cadman Plaza introduces us to Brooklyn's Court Houses. And then we travel into the first historically preserved neighborhood in the US, Brooklyn Heights, with stops at the Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims and Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
