L'Altra Romagna - cycling tour into the Malatesta Middle Ages

When thinking about Romagna, it comes to mind the Adriatic Coast with its shores and the classic holiday under the beach umbrella, but its the inland towns that hide attractions and alternative landscapes to those of the common vacation. Magnificent hills and above a succession of villages between Emilia Romagna and Marche, some of them with well-known names (such as Gradara), others less known, but all preserve the treasures of history, art and traditions. And if the center of Rimini already offers walks through alleys and important historical evidences, from the Arch of Augustus to the Tiberius Bridge and the Malatesta Castel Sismondo, the province of Rimini also hosts several medieval villages, which are certainly worth a visit.
