Abruzzo Trabocchi coast and Tremiti Islands on bike

For lovers of cycling, the Tremiti islands are a natural paradise situated in the Gargano National Park – they are an almost obligatory destination. Their particular morphology and the always mild climatic conditions, make this territory especially favored by Mtb enthusiasts who here, twelve months a year, find coves and dirt roads ideal for their evolutions. The five islands, located off the Adriatic coasts of Gargano, in Puglia, are in fact five jagged strips of land, veritable corners of paradise intact and rich in natural beauty. In these evocative glimpses of the splendid Gargano coast, cycling is considered by institutional bodies to be the ideal format to respect the beauty and integrity of the Apulian archipelago which, not by chance, is carefully protected by the authorities of the National Park. The five small islands (3 square kilometers in all) 12 miles from the coasts of the Gargano and 24 from the coast of Molise, are a naturalistic asset, but also a paradise for diving and for those who love nature and the sea, whose color , with its thousand shades, recalls the Caribbean Sea.
