Join us on a revealing journey through Atlanta’s civil rights history as we connect the dots from the Antebellum South to the present-day. On this tour we’ll share key stories leading up to the Civil War, the challenges of Reconstruction and the Jim Crow era that followed. We’ll discuss events that gave rise to Atlanta’s history-making African-American leaders and how they ultimately laid the foundation for the birth of the modern-day Civil Rights Movement.
