Best European Bike Tours
Apart from customized tours they organize and run all over Europe, their “standard” tours focus on Germany, Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden and Finland), Central Europe (Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) and Spain.
As opposed to most other tour companies, which usually outsource their tours to local business and tour guides and students, we run our tours always ourselves, with a stabilized, dependable, reliable and bilingual (if not trilingual or more) crew, most of whom have been with us for many years. You can thus be assured that the quality of our tours and provided services are always at the highest level, meeting your expectations, and do not fluctuate with whoever we would hire for this or that tour. That is also the reason why we have so many returning cyclists joining our tours every year.

We will ride through three countries – Denmark, Sweden and Finland – giving you a real taste of Scandinavia.
We start in Denmark, where we pedal along the coast of the Baltic Sea until we take a short ferry at Helsinborg, which will take us to Sweden.
We will spend a week exploring the beautifully and gently rolling Swedish countryside full of lakes, forests, small towns and villages, but we will also see some bigger towns and, most of all, the Swedish capital of Stockholm. From there, we will take a ferry to the , an autonomous region of Finland (where Swedish is the official language) that comprises around 6,700 islands. We will spend two nights there and explore its beautiful main island, including the medieval Kastelholm Castle. We will take another ferry to the mainland of Finland, specifically Turku, the former capital of the country and the oldest city in Finland. From there, we will pedal through the wooded Finish landscape until we arrive to Helsinki, its vibrant capital. Helsinki is a marvelous city and we certainly recommend that you extend your stay by a day or two to see more of it…
For full enjoyment of the trip, you should come prepared to complete the 60-110 km / 45-70 mile days comfortably on a rolling terrain. Most of the hilly terrain occurs during the Swedish part of the trip.
Our route is mostly designed along small, quiet, and picturesque roads with as little car traffic as possible and/or bike paths that enhance your sightseeing experience of the local areas. With the exception of a few sections, most of the roads and bike paths are paved. It means that the trip is suitable for road as well as hybrid bikes.

The trip starts in the German capital of and ends in the most beautiful city and capital of Denmark.
On the way we pass through beautiful countryside with forests, natural lakes, meadows and fields north of Berlin. We then arrive in the Hanseatic city of Lubeck, Germany’s most extensive UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have a day off here to explore this unique and remarkable city on the Baltic coast.
We then continue to the northern tip of Germany, near the town of Puttgarden. From there, a ferry will take us to Denmark. Denmark has one of the most extensive bike path networks in Europe and Danish drivers are arguably the most considerate drivers in the world when it comes to cyclists. We spend a few days on the bike paths and countryside roads of Denmark before arriving in Copenhagen, where, apart from other sightseeing, you will have the opportunity to explore the city from a boat.
There is so much to see in Berlin as well as Copenhagen and we certainly encourage you to stay a few more days before and after the trip. Moreover, should you desire to continue further north, to Sweden and Finland, you can join us for the second leg of our Scandinavian adventure, a tour from Copenhagen to Helsinki via Stockholm, which immediately follows the tour you were just on. You will not regret it.
For full enjoyment of the trip, you should come prepared to complete the 70-95 km / 45-60 mile days comfortably on flat and just very slightly rolling terrain. Most of the hilly terrain occurs during the last four days of the trip.

Our trip starts in the German capital of Berlin and ends in Krakow, the most beautiful city in Poland.
On the way we will pass through the wooded region full of natural lakes south of Berlin. We then visit Dresden, known not only for being the target of one of the biggest Allied bombing raids during World War II but also for its amazing art galleries. We will ride along the Elbe River and see some beautiful natural sandstone formations and spend a night in Olomouc, the second most famous city for historical monuments in the Czech Republic. In Olomouc, we join the so-called Amber Trail (an ancient trade route from the coast of the North Sea to the Mediterranean Sea) and we will, more or less, follow it all the way to our final destination in Krakow. Krakow is one of the very few cities in Poland that was not destroyed during the war and its rich history dates back to the 7th century. However, before we reach Krakow, we will pass through some beautiful countryside, state parks and natural preserves and see many old and historical monuments in Moravia and Poland.
Since there is so much to see in Berlin as well as Krakow, we certainly encourage you to stay a few more days on each side of the trip. If you decide to extend your stay before or after the trip, we can help you, if desired, to arrange the extra nights of your stay.
For full enjoyment of the trip, you should come prepared to complete the 60-80 km / 40-55 mile days comfortably on flat and gently rolling terrain. Most of the hilly terrain occurs during the last four days of the trip.
We strive to design our route along small, quiet, and picturesque roads with as little car traffic as possible and/or bike paths that enhance our sightseeing of the local areas. With the exception of a few short sections of firmly packed dirt, all the roads and bike paths are paved, which means that the trip is suitable for road bikes as well as hybrids.

This bike tour starts and ends in Prague, a historical and architectural jewel of Europe.
For many it is the most beautiful city on the Continent. We will take you through southern and eastern Bohemia, a picturesque and unique region of the Czech Republic.
The countryside consists of small lakes, forests, meadows, and pastoral farmland, and is studded with charming medieval towns, cathedrals, monasteries, and castles and palaces. You will get to taste the very best of Czech cuisine and, of course, Czech beer, arguably the best in the world. When you complete this tour, you will want to come back for more!
We strongly recommend that you arrive in Prague a few days before the tour or stay a few days afterwards in order to explore this beautiful city.
The southern Bohemia terrain is moderately rolling with some hills along the way and a few climbs. An intermediate cyclist should be able to comfortably complete the average 60-85 km/ 40-50 mile days.
We design most of our route along small, quiet, and picturesque roads with little car traffic and/or bike paths that enhance our sightseeing of the local areas. For the most part, road surfaces will be of very good quality, however there are a few sections with rougher, patched surface.

Join us on our tour between cities of the former Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Vienna and Prague.
Experience not only these two capitals of Austria and the Czech Republic, but also many historical, well-preserved towns and the beautiful nature and countryside between them. After exploring Vienna, we get on our bikes and follow the Danube River for a couple of days, all the way to the beautiful wine region of the Wachau Valley, having a taste of the renowned regional wine and visiting the great Melk Abbey with its breathtaking views of the Danube River.
We then head north towards the Czech Republic where we explore the beautiful town and region of Trebon – full of lakes, forests, meadows, and golden farmland. We continue to Cesky Krumlov, a fairy-like town, the jewel of southern Bohemia and a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site.
You will not find another town like this anywhere else. After spending two nights there we proceed to Ceske Budejovice, the provincial capital of Southern Bohemia. It has not only a beautiful historical center with a stunning Baroque square but is also the home of the original Budvar (Budweiser) beer. We will tour the brewery and you will have the option to judge for yourself how good this beer is.
Finally, we transfer to Prague where we have an introductory walking tour of the city center and our farewell dinner.
Most of the riding on this bicycle tour is on a flat terrain with the exception of the last day of riding where there are a few small hills. To be able to comfortably complete this tour, you should know how to safely ride a bike and be able to ride between 30-40 km (20-25 miles) a day on flat terrain. However, you always have an option to get a ride in our van if you don’t feel like riding on a given day. For those who’d like to ride a little bit more, there will be optional extra mileage they can ride on certain days.
We try to design our route along small, quiet, and picturesque roads with little car traffic and/or bike paths that enhance our sightseeing of the local areas. Any bike is feasible for this tour, road bike, touring (hybrid) bike or even mountain bike if that’s what you are used to.

Join us for an odyssey on two wheels to experience four countries, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and their capitals, the jewels of the former Austrian-Hungarian Empire – Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest.
We start our cycling adventure by exploring the beautiful region of Southern Bohemia and Moravia – full of forests, meadows, and golden farmland, charming and fairy-like preserved medieval towns, Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance cathedrals, churches, and monasteries, and dreamlike castles, chateaux, and palaces. In Moravia, the main wine region of the country, we cycle past romantic vineyards and orchards on tree lined roads.
Crossing the border into Austria, we meander through the fertile vineyards of the renowned Weinvertel wine region.
We then head south on the Greenways of the Leiserberge towards the Danube River and visit beautiful Vienna. Turning eastward along the Danube we cross the Slovak border into Bratislava, another major city on our route with its overlooked but beautiful historical center.
For full enjoyment of the trip, you should come prepared to complete the 60-85 km / 40-60 mile days comfortably on rolling to moderately hilly terrain. Most of the hilly terrain occurs in the first four days of the trip in the Bohemia countryside. The route then becomes gently rolling as we reach Austria and flatter into Slovakia as we ride on greenways and in proximity of the Danube River.
We try to design our route along small, quiet, and picturesque roads with as little car traffic as possible and/or bike paths that enhance our sightseeing of the local areas. For the most part road surfaces will be of very good or good quality.
