This cycling trip leads you through the area between the rivers Inn and Salzach and lake Chiemsee along the footsteps of the former Pope Benedikt XVI. Magnificent church buildings and monasteries of different religious orders await you on this cycling tour, and you will also discover impressive landscapes and interesting cities such as Burghausen, Wasserburg and Tittmoning during your cycling holiday.
The route is mostly flat, however there are some short ascents in between. One rides mainly on quiet cycling paths and agricultural roads. One must however also switch over to signposted side-streets.
