Cycling Through Jordan

Cycling Through Jordan is an eight-day guided journey blending history, culture and desert landscapes, starting and finishing in Amman. Riders begin with a stay in Madaba before cycling from Mount Nebo through traditional villages to Mukawir Castle, then continue south to Shobak Castle for a ride to Little Petra.

A full day is spent exploring Petra on foot, taking in the Treasury, the Siq, the Royal Tombs and the climb to the Monastery. The route resumes with a ride through the Bedouin Abbaseyya Desert to Wadi Rum, followed by an easy desert ride and a dip in the Dead Sea. The tour closes with a day exploring Amman's Citadel and Roman Theatre before departure.

Mix of paved roads, village lanes and rugged desert trails. Described as "challenging terrains" near Mukawir and "diverse terrains" between Rajif and Wadi Rum, easing to a flat desert ride in Wadi Rum itself.
