California Wine Country Biking

We pick you up in the San Francisco and drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to Healdsburg at the north end of the Sonoma Valley to start our rides that explore the Alexander & Napa Valleys as well as Dry Creek in the area. Our rides are designed to visit as many vintners as you wish while partaking in rides to suit you desired pace and distance. We also have side trips to places of interest such as the thermal springs to ease those muscles at the end of the day.

The parallel volcanic mountain ranges north of San Francisco have created rich flat valleys which are ideal for two coexistent activities: growing excellent wine grapes, and casual bicycling. Taking advantage of that, we have put together a tour that balances the two with an option to extend the trip to the Pt. Reyes peninsula, where more of nature's labors are on display.

For those concerned about the fitness level required, this tour is reasonably easy to moderate as the terrain is generally flat or gently hilly, with only a couple of significant hills to ride over. In any case, you are always welcome to ride in the support van if fatigued. For those that wish a more challenging route we have daily alternates as well as optional road bike rentals.
