Less strenuous than our purely bicycling tours, our Alaskan Adventure Tour combines half days of bicycling (average 30 miles) with canoeing, hiking, sea kayaking, a spectacular drive across the Denali Highway and an awesome glacier cruise across Prince William Sound. Seven day, seven night package includes all meals, lodging, Cannondale Bicycle, glacier cruise, canoes and sea kayaking at Shoup Glacier .

Our most challenging All-Alaskan Tour, the Bicycle Alaska Tour has six days that average 70 miles of bicycling. Our route has views of Mt. McKinley, visits Fairbanks, and is highlighted by a 300-mile bicycle ride down the spectacular Richardson Highway. The Richardson Highway runs from the center of the state to the coast, almost in a straight line. This gives you the opportunity to see the different climate zones, mountains, and river basins of the Alaskan interior and Southcentral Alaska. While taking us far from most of the 'tourist' areas, in our opinion it is the most scenic, low traffic, paved highway in the state. We return to the Anchorage area via a cruise across Prince William Sound.

All together, this tour gives you the best-detailed overview of Alaska possible in this amount of time.

Our ALCAN Highway Expedition is a 10-day tour from Haines to Anchorage, a distance of 700 miles over some of the most remote paved highways in the world. The Alaska Highway was built in a crash program by the U.S. Army in 1942, and while the road has been upgraded many times since, the wilderness around the road is virtually untouched. We average 65 miles per day over a 9-day stretch, and for those who are interested, bonus miles are available!

This tour explores Canada's Yukon Territory, continuing across the Top of the World Highway into Alaska, and ends in Anchorage. The Yukon Territory has about 1/3 the population density of Alaska and is a vast empty land of forests mountains and huge rivers. The roads are paved, yet in a rougher manner than usual. This is not an easy tour. The daily mileages average 75, and there are many options for centuries available.

The rewards, however, are great! The biking is fantastic, the scenery magnificent, and most of the time is spent on some of the most remote paved roads in North America! Standard mileages are long, but the van is available for any who want a break.
