Discover the scenic beauty of Lake Balaton on a relaxed week-long cycling tour. Ride through charming lakeside towns and villages, enjoy sunny waterfront views and take plenty of breaks for a refreshing swim along the shoreline.

During the trip, you’ll also have the chance to try a beginner-friendly sailing lesson and experience the region’s well-known wine culture. From the crisp whites of Balatonfüred to the rich reds of Badacsony, you’ll sample local flavours and learn about traditional winemaking.

It’s a perfect way to enjoy the highlights of Lake Balaton: combining gentle cycling, great food and wine, and plenty of time to relax in one of Hungary’s most beautiful regions.

The western edge of the Southern Carpathians is lesser known to foreign tourists despite offering plenty for everyone. Boasting a wide variety of sights, we consider it the hidden gem of our portfolio.

We'll ride a bike and a boat through the Iron Gates, the Danube's Big Boilers, then turn north and visit Băile Herculane, the favourite resort of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. In the second part of the week we'll turn onto more quiet roads and stop over by the mills of Eftimie Murgu, the world-famous Bigăr waterfall and capping it all off with a train ride on the Banat's Semmering, the Oravița-Anina railway.

Take on some of Transylvania’s most iconic climbs, starting with the legendary Transfăgărășan. This famous alpine road winds through the Carpathian Mountains with dramatic switchbacks, sweeping valleys and unforgettable high-altitude views — a true bucket-list ride.

Along the way, explore the medieval town of Sighișoara, birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, and visit Biertan, home to one of the region’s best-preserved fortified churches.

Your adventure finishes on the Transalpina, the highest road in Romania. Climb its spectacular mountain passes, enjoy wide-open panoramas, and celebrate completing one of the most scenic cycling routes in the country.

Maramureș is one of Romania’s most picturesque regions, known for its traditional villages, peaceful countryside and unique cultural heritage. Its most famous attractions are the wooden churches, outstanding examples of local craftsmanship. Seven are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the church in Surdești holds the title of the tallest wooden church in the world.

The region is also home to talented artisans, from woodcarvers to potters. In places like Bârsana and Săcel, you’ll see their work up close and learn how these traditions are kept alive.

To round off the experience, you’ll enjoy a ride on the Mocănița, a historic steam train that travels through the lush forests of the Vaser Valley. With its mix of culture, scenery and authentic rural life, Maramureș offers an unforgettable journey, especially when explored by bike.

Discover Transylvania’s Saxon heritage on a relaxed cycling route that takes you through peaceful villages, forest paths and rolling countryside. We start in Avrig and follow quiet backroads toward Alma Vii, Biertan, Mălâncrav and Criș, stopping to explore each village at an easy pace.

You’ll spend the night in Sighișoara, a UNESCO-listed medieval citadel, before continuing on one of Romania’s most enjoyable singletrack bike paths toward our final destination: the village of Viscri.

Expect great local food, welcoming hosts and plenty of scenic views along the way. This tour is ideal for travelers who want a mix of gentle cycling, cultural highlights and authentic rural experiences — all in a relaxed, well-organized itinerary.
