Immerse yourself in the experience of exploring the Baltic coast.
For many, the three pearls of the Baltics – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – are yet to be known and discovered. Their goal is to introduce our clients to the breath-taking nature, manifold history and culinary heritage of these lands.
Head of the agency and travel guide Vilmante Matutiene and the entire WINDBIKETOURS team:
My moto – be active and enjoy life to the fullest. As a student, I spent my time not only learning about history, but also climbing mountains, riding my bicycle and exploring the world around me whilst engaging in various outdoor activities. My true passion was travelling the world, discovering new countries, and getting to know their people, local customs and cultural differences. I consider myself to be one the few lucky people who have turned their passion into a profession. Since 2005, I have been working in the tourism sector. Having gained more than a decade of experience as a travel guide, I accumulated many great ideas that could be realized only by establishing my own travel agency. That is how WINDBIKETOURS was conceived.
What makes us truly stand out from the rest? The extensive knowledge of the Baltic history and presence. We will answer any question thus providing our clients with an accurate understanding of these small, yet great nations and their people.
We do everything in our power to provide our clients with second to none travel experience.

With a guide, explore the cultural diversity and breath-taking landscapes of the region
This bicycle tour stretches out across all three Baltic states, and provides the opportunity to explore the cultural diversity and breath-taking landscapes of the region. The trip sets off from the Lithuanian capital Vilnius and concludes in the historical Hansa city in Tallinn, after visiting the Latvian capital Riga, renowned for its Jugend style and Art Noveau architecture. All three capitals boast impressive old towns that are featured in the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. The Curonian Spit, a 98 km long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast, offers unprecedent travel experience and is also featured on the list. Furthermore, during the tour, you get to visit three national parks in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, as well as explore the sandy beaches of the Baltic coast. All you have to do is relax and soak in the culture and nature of the Baltics whilst enjoying a ride on your bicycle.
The entire route covered on a bicycle is approximately 160 miles. On top of that, you will travel around 640 miles on a bus and about 8 miles on a boat.

The Curonian Spit and Palanga are the most popular holiday destinations in Lithuania, boasting beautiful beaches and dune landscapes. The best cycling route in the Baltics runs along the Baltic Sea coast from Palanga to Nida and is part of the EuroVelo R1 route. In the former Memelland, where the Memel/Nemunas River flows into the Curonian Lagoon, you will find the Ventė Ornithological Station.
This tour is a great opportunity to get to know the country and its people better.
