A fully supported 12-day ride across northern Spain's Pyrenees, from San Sebastian on the Atlantic to Tossa de Mar on the Mediterranean.

This tour crosses northern Spain from the Basque coast to the Costa Brava, taking in the southerly and central Pyrenees along the way. It starts in glittering San Sebastián, known for its Michelin-starred restaurants and tapas bars, and finishes on the warm waters of the Mediterranean at Tossa de Mar, via the medieval city of Girona.

The route climbs through rolling Basque hills and forested river valleys before crossing the Cols of Uitzi (802 m) and Zuarrarrate (780 m) into Navarra. From Pamplona, riders follow open vineyard country and the Yesa Reservoir into Aragon, reaching the historic mountain town of Jaca. The longest day takes in the Puerto de Serrablo (1,291 m) before descending to Ainsa, one of the prettiest villages in the Pyrenees.

Moving into Catalunya, the route passes turquoise reservoirs at El Grado and Pantano de San Lorenzo, the wine region of Somontano de Barbastro, and the volcanic landscapes of Garrotxa. A steady descent through Lake Banyoles leads to Girona, before a final day through the forested Massís de les Cadiretes to the coast at Tossa de Mar.

They describe this as suited to their "Active" rider profile, a gentler and more leisurely pace than their more demanding tours, with daily averages of around 70 km and 1,000 m of climbing. The Wild Atlantic Cycling team provides support and encouragement throughout, with quiet mountain-top villages, river gorges and wholesome food along the way.
