Wide Eyed Tours was established in 2003 with the goal to create personalised tours of Southeast Asia using local knowledge. Australian’s Travis Fennell and Mike Keenan spent years exploring Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar, before starting the business. They quickly realised the only way to create authentic travel experiences in the region was to build a local workforce who understand the unique culture and way of life in this part of the world.

We are immensely proud of the underdog qualities we still retain, the same qualities loved by our clients and agents. Our employees are a strong mix of local people from Southeast Asia and veteran travellers, from the dynamic founders Travis and Mike, to the rest of the management team that now call Southeast Asia home. When it comes to local experience you don’t get better than this.
