Join us on an epic adventure across the Iberian Peninsula. Commencing near Santander, Spain and ending 1,000kms later in Faro, Portugal.

The 1000k Coast to Coast reveals the stunning scenery of the more remote and unpopulated regions of Spain and Portugal.

Over the 7 Stages and 10,000 metres of accumulated elevation you will:

  • Traverse the Cantabrian Mountain Range
  • Climb up to an altitude of 1,350m
  • Cross the vast Spanish plains of Castile & Leon
  • Descend through the mountains to Extremadura
  • Cross the border into Portugal
  • Ride through the rolling landscape of Alentejo
  • Climb the mountains of the Algarve and descend to the Atlantic Ocean in Faro.
  • Throughout this entire adventure you will be supported by the renowned Team Volta Crew who will feed and hydrate you on a journey that explores an everchanging landscape.

And when not riding on some of the smoothest, traffic free roads of Europe, we’ll relax in comfortable hotels and enjoy the local cuisine and culture of this ancient land.
