There has never been a better way to experience the winelands than on a bicycle and now electric bicycles make it even more enjoyable and accessible to the whole family. Exploring the winelands on an e-bike gives you the advantage of soaking up the scenery and surroundings at your own pace while not spending much energy as your e-bike assists you in pedaling.

Your E-Bike Tour will take you through breath taking scenery while avoiding the main roads.

We visit the following farms:

• Grand Provence where you can either do a tasting or enjoy a cup of coffee.
• Glenwood which is off the beaten track! Glenwood also has a sushi bar if you would like a snack.
• Depending on the guests we can also visit Leeu Estate, Country Kitchen or Leopards Leap as they are all on our route but this is decided with the guests on the day.

You will have time to take pictures as we admire the Franschhoek Village and surrounding mountain from different angles. You will also cycle through vineyards and working farms while your guide give you insight on the history of this cultural rich town.

There will be plenty of time for shopping!

If you want to experience the winelands with all its splendor then it is impossible to only do it from the inside of the wine tasting rooms – you have to get out there. Get outside! The best way to do this is on an e-bike.

E-Bikes make it possible to to cycle much further without using much effort. Not only can you cycle further and experience more, the e-bikes also has the potential to make a group with different fitness levels equal. The less fit in the group can use more assistance and the strong cyclists simply use less assistance.

With Vinebikes our adventure will take you on a scenic route through working wine farms as well as off the beaten track back roads.

After meeting your guide at the Hey Joe Brewing Company – they will assist you in understanding your e-bike as well as adjusting the seat post and handing out helmets.

Your E-Bike Tour will then take you through breath lovely scenery while avoiding the main roads.

Our destination is a beautiful dam where we stop for a picnic snack while soaking up the scenery.

Our first wine farm to visit is Rainbow’s End or Oldenburg – tucked away in the Banhoek Valley with the Groot Drakenstein Mountains as a back drop.

After spending time in the deepest corner of the Banhoek valley we cycle back for a second wine farm visit and we have a choice between Thelema , Tokara or Zorgvliet against the foot of Simonsberg Mountain.

There will be plenty of time for pictures and shopping!

Full Day E-Bike Tour in Stellenbosch: Exploring the Winelands

Welcome to an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking landscapes and charming vineyards of Stellenbosch. Our Full Day E-Bike Tour is designed to immerse you in the beauty of the Cape Winelands, combining the joys of outdoor cycling with the convenience of electric assistance.

Explore Jonkershoek Reserve outside Stellenbosch on e-bikes. Our e-bike route will take you deep into the Jonkershoek where you will be surrounded by majestically alpine like mountains. The trail follows the Eerste River with an opportunity to take a plunge in the river on hot days. The route is mainly jeep tracks (no single tracks).

With lush fynbos along the route you will have a good chance of spotting sugar birds in their natural habitat.

The tour includes a mini picnic that is enjoyed deep in Jonkershoek while soaking up the scenery.
