With nearly 40 years in the business, the company designs and runs self-guided and guided multi-day bike tours, splitting its catalogue into "Velociped Original Tours" (fully operated in-house across 13 core German regions) and "Velociped Partner Tours" (run through selected local partners across the rest of Germany and 19+ other European countries). Velociped is part of the Austria-based Eurofun Group.
The company caters to couples, families, small private groups and solo travellers who want a self-directed multi-day trip without giving up professional organisation. Tours are graded across four difficulty levels (easy to difficult), and most routes are available with standard touring bikes or e-bikes. Standard inclusions across Original Tours are accommodation with breakfast, daily luggage transfer between hotels, detailed route documentation, GPS-based app navigation and a seven-day telephone hotline.

Hanseatic splendour and sunny island — six days cycling Germany's Baltic coast from Stralsund to Usedom island.
This self-guided six-day tour follows Germany's Baltic Sea coast from the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic town of Stralsund to the island of Usedom, known locally as the "bathtub of Berlin." Riders follow well-marked cycle paths and quiet side roads through Greifswald, past cormorant colonies at Brandshagen, and across the Strelasund to reach Usedom's northern shore.
On Usedom, the route threads dike forests and lakes rich in birdlife before reaching the island's 40 km beach and the three grand imperial spa resorts of Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, connected by a coastal promenade. The return leg passes through quiet back-country before a train transfer from Anklam back to Stralsund.
Terrain is mostly flat with occasional gentle hills on Usedom, and accommodation is a mix of mid-range to comfort-class hotels and guesthouses throughout.
