When people think of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast golden beaches, resorts, theme parks and Hasting Street, Noosa automatically come to mind. If you don't know a local you will most likely never experience the amazing riding each region has to offer.
When you combine the lush, scenic hinterland and quiet rolling valleys with warm, sunny days and an abundance of seaside coffee shops, SE Queensland is a true cycling mecca most all year round. The added beauty of this trip is that once you've sampled all the Gold Coast has to offer you will ride/transfer to our next amazing accommodation venue on the Sunny Coast for another 7 days of sun, warmth, great coffee and amazing rides.
The Gold Coast sector starts and finishes at Coolangatta Airport and the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane Airport (alternative arrangements can be made on request).
Our 14 day itinerary showcases everything the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have to offer with scenic rides that will have you back by lunchtime most days so you can enjoy the sandy beaches and surf, some shopping and relaxing in the cafes that all the locals frequent. Alpes Ventoux Tour de France Experience
Living like a local is the experience Velo Tours provides. We do not follow the Tour so there's no daily grind of changing hotels or transferring stage to stage. We take you to see a few stages of the race while it is in the Alpes; the rest of the time you will unpack for a week in a large chalet on the main street of le Bourg d'Oisans at the foot of Alpe d'Huez where every day is geared up for you to do nothing else but ride your bike up the mountains in the morning and relax in the afternoon as you immerse yourself in the local French culture and kick back in the town's bars and cafes.
We eat, sleep and ride together each day which creates a personal, 'family road trip' atmosphere that has you sharing your achievements and your failures, supporting and inspiring each other every step of the way. Lifelong friendships are formed and amazing memories shared with other likeminded people gathered together, living the same dream.

The Spring Classics are a bucket list item for any hard core cyclist but the appeal of riding those iconic cobbled roads in the freezing cold rain, mud and wind just doesn't rate for most.
Well now you can pit yourself against the famous capi and pavé in dry lycra bathed in sunshine on this amazing premium tour in the month of June or August (dates change annually), riding and dining alongside 2 time top ten Paris-Roubaix finisher, Henk Vogels.
You will ride the legendary Arenberg Trench, test yourself on the Passo del Ghisallo and Wall of Sormano to name just a few, as you traverse some of the best one day classic courses across 3 countries; Italy, France and Belgium.
Featuring stopovers in premium accommodation in beautiful Siena, Lake Como, Sanremo and the home of cycling, Oudenaarde in Belgium this tour ticks all the boxes.
Special Comment: This tour is not suitable for novice riders. We ride big distances each day and some routes take us on cobbled and dirt roads so only confident riders with above average bike handling skills should consider this tour.
