Ride, relax, repeat: a guided multi-day tour through the luxury and quiet of the Alentejo
Bike and Tasting is a guided, single-base cycling holiday at the Convento do Espinheiro, a restored 15th-century convent 2 km from Évora's UNESCO-listed centre. With no packing and unpacking, each morning starts with a delicious breakfast before you meet your guide for a beautiful ride. Sleep like a king, ride like a discoverer.
Every day is different. Ride to Igrejinha and the cork and wine country, explore Évora's monuments and viewpoints, climb to the hilltop fortress of Monsaraz above the Alqueva Lake, and visit the marble towns of Estremoz and Vila Viçosa. Along the way you meet family-run wineries, artisans and traditional producers, each with its own story.
A knowledgeable local guide and support van accompany every ride, and the programme is flexible. It can be done as an e-bike tour, and it's your holiday, so the operator adapts the days to suit you.
