The terrain is varied throughout the week but generally features smooth, mostly quiet roads through rolling to hilly countryside. The riding on some days of the trip is undulating, while other days feature more hills and climbing. Some of the climbs are short but quite steep. The routes have been designed to avoid busy roadways as much as possible, however, short sections of busy roads are unavoidable. Your guides will make you aware of such sections so you may shuttle if you so choose.
