Explore Spain’s Sierra de Guadarrama mountains on a guided weekend of mountain biking. You’ll ride endless singletrack through forests, along scenic ridgelines and stop in at the beautiful historic cities of Segovia and El Escorial on the way.

The beautiful Sierra de Guadarrama mountains in Central Spain were recently designated a National Park. The area is one of Spain’s most important biological preserves, providing a home for deer, boar, wolvess, eagles and vultures. The mountains are beautiful, with granitic peaks rising 1000m above the surrounding plains.

The nearby cities of Segovia, El Escorial and Granja de San Ildefonso host some of Spain’s top monuments like a 11th Century fortress, a 1st Century Roman aqueduct or a monastery from the 16th century.

Ainsa, the Benasque and Aragón valleys, backcountry at Sierra de Guara in Huesca or Valle de Arán in Catalonia harnor a vast trail network that looks created by the gods of Enduro Mountain Biking. Tens of thousands of meters of thrilling descents through dreamy landscape, riding over rocky hillsides, alpine singletrack and endless greenrooms into deep forests getting to know the guts and culture of the south face of the Pyrenees.

Puig Campana is one of Spain’s highest mountains closer to the shore. Its peak at 1410mts over the sea level is just 10km from the Mediterranean coast. From many of the trails that surround it, you can stare at vertical limestone walls and feel blinded by the shine of the sea. Costa Blanca mountains are full of fun technical trails to be discovered that deny the saying that bikes are just for summer. Because in Costa Blanca winter is 15ºC.
