The Porto to Santiago Coastal Bike Tour is an 8-day cycling route covering around 270–300 km along the Atlantic coast of Portugal and Spain. This route follows the Camino Português da Costa, part of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage network, offering one of the most scenic and bike-friendly ways to reach Santiago de Compostela.
Also known as the Coastal Camino, this pilgrimage route takes cyclists through charming towns such as Vila do Conde, Viana do Castelo, Caminha, Baiona, and Pontevedra before reaching the historic city of Santiago.
This cycling Camino de Santiago route is known for its relatively flat terrain, scenic ocean views, and well-maintained cycling paths. Daily distances typically range between 40 and 65 km, making it an excellent option for recreational cyclists as well as e-bike riders.
